Anonymous Other, 1997
C-prints mounted on aluminum overpainted with oil
Installation 110" x 70", each 15" x 15"

An installation of photographic portraits abstracted and photographed from a found photograph.  Each image depicts a face from a crowd of people gathered together for a shared event. The anonymity of the other and circumstance, coupled with human emotion raises questions.  How do we define ourselves?  And who is the other?
