Seven archival pigment prints on cotton rag paper
Installation 90 x 102 inches
One Sunday, 2016 portrays everyday, commonplace occurrences on a summer Sunday afternoon. Depicted are two simultaneous events. Each photographed from one singular vantage point⏤the home living room. The assembled sequential frames form a subtle story. The camera plays with time, motion and focus. One view documents from the inside an outside live sports event on a television screen. The other details real time outside leisure events through a window. Neither depicts the photographer who participates in both as a hidden spectator.
