Framing Main: Crossroads of History, Nave Museum, Victoria, Texas 2013 depicts my photographic journey to find traces of my father and his Southwest Texas family. Framing Main includes varied media and aspects, including photography, written narrative and documentary artifacts that follow this search for information about ancestry and heritage, as well as the source of nearly forgotten, sometimes reimagined memories. The body of work uses Main Street in Cuero, Texas as a contextual frame through which memories are recovered while future memories are launched.
